A meat song

Good evening again ladies and gentlemen, it's that time once again for Brooke's brilliantly, bedazzling, beautifully, brimming, bouncy, bonkers, ballistic, songs!  With your host, The Brilliantly, bedazzling, beautifully, brimming, bouncy, bonkers, ballistic, Brooke!  Yohohoho!

Have you ever had a tasty meal of chicken or seaking?  Have you ever wanted to be able to show your appreciation to your cook?  Well now you can!  For I have devised the most brilliant meat song of all time for all the world to be able to sing!  Yohohoho!

Without further ado ladies and gents, I present you with...
Sanji's Chicken (A Meat song for Luffy)

Yohohohoho!

A song that attracts them? Can anyone sing this? I am always looking for new and exotic things to add to my cooking.

I suppose that depends upon a few things, Brooke the skeleton bard. What's in it for me and how fond are you of where your bones are currently in relation to one another?

[identity profile] tapdancinskelly.livejournal.com 2009-04-16 04:49 am (UTC)(link)
It is a touch tricky to learn and works far better with some form of instrument. But it can indeed be sung and I have done so on a few occasions. I like your style though. It's always interesting to try to find new things to cook.

Well as far as how fond am I of where my bones currently are in relation to each other, I have been told before that I could use a makeover. Yohohoho! As for what's in it for you... Well I could teach you my Sea King summoning song? Otherwise I have spoons, cookies, and tea.

[identity profile] deadlydelicacy.livejournal.com 2009-04-16 05:00 am (UTC)(link)
It will be nice not to have to deal with ridiculous zoo keepers this time. Very well, Skeleton, you have an accord, if you can teach me the song and I do indeed capture a seaking, I will allow it. If you are only grandstanding I reserve the right to take you apart piece by piece for your uncivilized request.

[identity profile] tapdancinskelly.livejournal.com 2009-04-16 05:18 am (UTC)(link)
Umm... there may be one or two flaws with that plan. For starters, No zoo could possibly hold a Sea King but I do somewhat have to wonder what on earth you were planning at a Zoo. Second, how the hell do you intend to kill it? They aren't exactly your typical beast that you can just hunt with a gun or really big net. Thirdly do you even have musical talents to work with or must we start from scratch? Fourth off, I never grandstand when it comes to music. Lastly what kind of panties do you wear?

[identity profile] deadlydelicacy.livejournal.com 2009-04-16 05:42 am (UTC)(link)
There are never flaws in my plans.

The zoo has nothing to do with seakings. I last had to deal with the workers when I tried to tranq a lion. Or two.

I'm not very worried about killing it. I'm sure I can find a way.

I play piano. So yes, I know something about music. I'm no virtuoso, my brother is better.

Generally hiphuggers or lowrise.

[identity profile] tapdancinskelly.livejournal.com 2009-04-16 06:04 am (UTC)(link)
If you say it is so then it is so. Yohohoho!

... dare I ask why you were tranquilizing lions? For food?

Well if you have the basic understanding of music then that shouldn't be a big problem. Who is your brother if I may ask?

Wow...nice... very well I'll kill the Sea King with my violin even if I must!
Yohohohoho!

[identity profile] deadlydelicacy.livejournal.com 2009-04-16 06:15 am (UTC)(link)
I'm glad you think so as well.

Ingredients.

Hayato Gokudera

I appreciate your enthusiasm.

[identity profile] tapdancinskelly.livejournal.com 2009-04-16 06:23 am (UTC)(link)
... I'm going to stop asking about these lions now.

... Gokudera? The lad who sold me the nice additions to my spoon collection? I wonder if he still has that soul shard of mine.

Now I don't think the piano is quite the best instrument for Seaking summoning, would you perhaps be able to learn the flute or violin?

ooc: I think you have Gokudera and Gon confused.

[identity profile] deadlydelicacy.livejournal.com 2009-04-16 06:28 am (UTC)(link)
Has my brother picked up a side job? Reborn did not mention this to me.

Learning a new instrument may take just a bit too long. Especially something as different from a percussion instrument as a woodwind or string. There is no other way to catch one's interest?

Re: ooc: blast... well call it the lack of a brain in this skull of mine.

[identity profile] tapdancinskelly.livejournal.com 2009-04-16 06:38 am (UTC)(link)
Funny I don't remember a Reborn fellow, perhaps I mistook him for somebody else.

Well there is always song. Alternatively I could simply play it for you and summon one. Of course I suppose you want it for long term use.

ooc: happens to the best of us :)

[identity profile] deadlydelicacy.livejournal.com 2009-04-16 06:43 am (UTC)(link)
If you had met Reborn you'd remember him.

I imagine that will depend on the quality of food produced from the seaking. But yes it would be nice to have the option.

I'm thinking this might be an excellent opportunity for a training exercise. I was asked to come up with ideas.

[identity profile] tapdancinskelly.livejournal.com 2009-04-16 07:01 am (UTC)(link)
I'm fairly certain you could use your own voice. As for quality, some say it is one of the rarest luxury foods in the world.

Training exercise you say? I suppose the crew you are part of needs some fighting practice. I think it would definately be safe to say that you should have your crew well informed before you try this melody, sometimes you only get one sea king. But sometimes you might end up with a whole pack of them.

You might even be able to use my Meat song too. Yohohoho!

[identity profile] deadlydelicacy.livejournal.com 2009-04-16 07:07 am (UTC)(link)
Luxury food? You have certainly piqued my interest.

That is good to know.

Will it also draw seakings?

[identity profile] tapdancinskelly.livejournal.com 2009-04-16 07:14 am (UTC)(link)
Well granted each breed of Sea King tastes different. Some of them might not be what you're looking for, but some might be like nothing you've ever even dreamed of.

Since you're female you should have an easier time with it since they seem to like the higher pitches. Also it might be part of the whole classic sea monsters wanting to eat damsels in distress?

Umm... no... but it's a good song for eating Sea kings?

[identity profile] deadlydelicacy.livejournal.com 2009-04-17 07:19 am (UTC)(link)
This sounds promising. I may, perhaps need more than one sample in this case.

I do not mind playing bait.

Ahh, well I imagine eating would keep my mouth somewhat busy.

[identity profile] tapdancinskelly.livejournal.com 2009-04-17 07:26 am (UTC)(link)
A nice variety is always nice. Yohohoho!

I'm sure you'll make the Sea Kings drool as much as I do. Yohohoho!

That's the beauty of my song! It's perfect even for the busy mouth!

Yohohoho!

[identity profile] deadlydelicacy.livejournal.com 2009-04-17 07:33 am (UTC)(link)
Do you, indeed, produce saliva?

Perhaps I can try one and see how that goes first.

[identity profile] deadlydelicacy.livejournal.com 2009-04-17 07:58 am (UTC)(link)
How lucky I am to make the discovery.

[identity profile] tapdancinskelly.livejournal.com 2009-04-17 08:03 am (UTC)(link)
Well as you can tell I'm not just your average pile of bones. Yohohoho!

So when would you like to start your lessons, hmm?

[identity profile] deadlydelicacy.livejournal.com 2009-04-17 08:06 am (UTC)(link)
I'm leaving for Italy tomorrow for three days. But if it can be begun over the internet I am ready whenever you are. Otherwise I will have to find some way to meet you after this.

[identity profile] tapdancinskelly.livejournal.com 2009-04-17 08:13 am (UTC)(link)
Italy? Isn't he that pasta obsessed fellow?

[identity profile] deadlydelicacy.livejournal.com 2009-04-17 08:14 am (UTC)(link)
Italy is my homeland. He just happens to share the name.

[identity profile] tapdancinskelly.livejournal.com 2009-04-17 08:28 am (UTC)(link)
Oh. Well it's most likely best to meet face to face due to the challenging nature of the song you are trying to learn. Also it's safest to practice in a sound proof room so as to not attract more of them than you can handle. Not to mention that how will I know you'll uphold your end of the bargain? Yohohoho!

It is still possible to learn via talking over the internet if you'd really like but you increase the dangers of something... unexpected.

[identity profile] deadlydelicacy.livejournal.com 2009-04-17 03:28 pm (UTC)(link)
I'll be borrowing one of the helicopters from the SDC so unless these seakings have the ability to fly there should be no problems. Perhaps the first lesson can be at a distance and after that we may try to meet.

Are you telling me you do not trust me to keep my word?
