My fellow members of the Straw-hat pirates, I should inform you that I picked up a drifter the other day named Riza Hawkeye.  She's a very nice lady, but seemed quite content with keeping me at pistol point the entire way to the ship.  It's not my fault that I pointed out that she was wearing a white shirt and it was pouring!  Yohohoho!  Anyhow, I was hoping she could stay with us for a little while.  Did I mention she's very cute?  Yohohoho! Oh!  And did I mention I found a buyer for my Crystal Soul shard with the souls of a 100 gold fish?  ... well not really buyer, since she's paying me in a cup of tea together.  Yohohoho!

On a separate note, happy late birthday Rinali!  I was going to give this to you, on your birthday, but it was being quite stubborn.  So here it is ladies and gentleman!  A boot for Shadow, and a boot for Light!

Who knows...Maybe I'm not meant to marry. I hate duties I wish to see through- for my brother.

That- that list...While number 9 confuses me, number 12 is also confusing. If you're friends then- what should it matter? The heart knows no age, and if you and her brought smiles to one another, why would others want to take it away?

I'm- rather sorry you've had bad luck with women- and I apologize for my own self having to be a number on a list like this...

Ah! No, no I didn't mean that you were at fault for being on my list or anything! I just meant I... heh, I just give my heart away too easily at times Lady Rinali. I really liked you, and still do, I just don't think you'd want to be with a skeleton like myself anyways. You deserve someone better than myself.

Well you see... that's mostly an excuse... she's a marine, and I'm a pirate, I fear I'll get her in trouble if I'm anywhere close to her.

I must apologize Rinali, it was just a moment of weakness on my part, I've just been feeling a little alone at times.

Just like I believe you deserve someone much better than myself... My heart already belongs to Leo, even if we're not- really on speaking terms. He was the first one to make me fall so deep in love that- I'm not ever going to let go of that feeling any time in my life. I'm sorry...I guess that might make me a horrible person, hm?

But- star crossed lovers! Or friends...so what if there's class behind it...if they make your smile, then hold on to it.

Mm, please never apologize for something like that. I'm afraid I'm going through the same thing... So maybe we can keep one another company, hm?

I suppose I could always try to visit her. She hasn't talked to me for some time however.

It has never made you a horrible person Rinali, it makes you human. And I? I will always, no matter what happens, stand by you, because you are my friend and I love you.

Perhaps just try talking to her again? If you're happy- and you don't want to be without that happiness, you should do what you can to preserve it. Even if all it takes is a little hello.

Even humans have faults but- thank you. And I'm your friend, too. Even if I'm a marine and you're a pirate, you're still a dear part of my world.

It's understandable though, and it's like you said, station shouldn't matter as long as it makes each other smile.
