"Correct. And since the one to drive them away is one of the most important and needed if you happen to screw up, we shall start with that." To try to match her blank expression he instinctively reached inside his coat pocket for another cup of tea and reamarkably kept it intact for a change. "And so we shall begin."

Brooke taught Bianchi the tune for hours going over each part carefully so there was little room for error. From the tune of summoning which was much like the sound of a thrashing wounded animal, or cries for help from a person under water, to the tune of repelling which had the sound of thunder on the sea, the cry of a sea gull, and a pitch that was too fine to be hearable to the human ear. The tune of charming was the most beautiful with notes used most in merfolk songs that made you imagine glowing coral, sunken treasure, and mermaids basking in the sun.

Throughout the lesson an occasional Sea King popped it's head up near the ship which Brooke used for examples on how it's done. While also repelling them the hell away right afterwords so the crew wouldn't notice and start trying to kill him for bringing them here.

"Well we have gone over the basics of the first three parts and you have shown some competance in being able to use them. We shall continue on another day. The tunes can always use some more practice due to the dangerous nature, and the tune of enragement is far too dangerous to start on day one."
