OOC: [Party Log] Brook's Musical Extravaganza

PARTY!!!!

Everyone is invited to come to this party and just magically show up to hear the music that will be in store.

Brook shall be busting around everywhere, as a party post anyone can show up and do just about anything. Eat, listen to music, throw tomatoes, make out in the closet, play on the beach on the island they're docked at, pretty much anything at all.

The Lawn deck is where most of the party shall take place and there is a stage there too. People are welcome to request the musicians to play something they request and they shall be playing a few songs of their own. Brook shall also sing every song he's ever written (by me posting links to youtube throughout the party. People on the lawn deck are free to dance and react to songs that people have played.

The straw hat ship is docked an island and if there are any problems or difficulties please contact me immidiately via my AIM or E-mail. If I cannot be reached at either of those you can most likely contact CC to get a hold of me.

Oh, and in case you haven't figured out this party is on the Straw Hat pirate ship the thousand sunny and there is an island they are docked at you can go to too. It's an autumn island with a lovely forest with lovely foliage that is... lovely.

"Firstly" she says, looking to the bomber coldy, "She was there because I invited her. So you should be upset with me and not her. Secondly, if not for her, you would have had a much tougher time with the kraken. Whatever trouble she's caused, I think she's more than made up for it. Especially after obtaining those injuries."

Gokudera already knows and understands well what Miranda is saying, but will not admit that he appreciated Robin's assistance. Without her advice, it would have been nearly impossible to strike the kraken when it was so heavily camouflaged. However, there is a certain competitive streak that runs through him when he recalls her taking the initiative to gather help outside from the crew in combat. He feels his position as a leader was challenged and it grits on his nerves that a guest would have the gall to do something like that. The teen glares at her, "We could have taken it down without her." He probably would be sporting some wounds, but he's confident in the Vongola crew's ability. "Why did you invite her over, anyways?" his voice is quiet and low, like the signal of a coming storm.

Miranda is very tempted to voice her angry thoughts, but chooses instead to return his furious stare with a blank one. "There is no doubt in my mind about that, but regardless, she did help. And she took quite the fall for it. For that, I believe she deserves just a smidge of respect. But then again, those are just my thoughts" She pauses for a moment, thinking about why exactly she invited Robin over. "She invited me out to drinks. I liked the idea, considering it's supposed to be Oktoberfest back home, and I wanted to celebrate with someone"

"It wasn't her place to do what she did. I only allowed her to step in because of the Tenth's orders. But I still don't trust her." The end of his cigarette glows a bright red as he takes one last drag. He thinks about how the pirate woman helped them, and how she helped Miranda. Concern and disgust settle into outright hatred and he blames Robin for his feelings. "I don't want her back on the Vongola."

"Did Tsuna ask you to allow everyone else to fight as well?" She settles on the ground, leaning back on her hands, regretting the slightly bitter tone in her voice. Hell, she regretted saying anything at all. Her tongue had gotten ahead of her, and she was just waiting for Gokudera's bite back. "She is my friend; if she wants to come over, and if Tsuna doesn't mind, she will. I'll make sure to keep her out of your way"

"He told me to allow people to help." Gokudera says and he drops his cigarette, crushing it under a sandy heel. "She's a pirate. With a bounty on her head, and she got you into trouble." He glares at her. Nico Robin can get in his way all she wants. It's not like he hasn't dealt with annoyances before. What he can't stand is the thought of her being a bad influence on his crewmates.

"...and why didn't you allow me to help?" the woman asked, the words rolling off her tongue slowly and in a low voice. Maybe this would help clear up her confusion. "For God's sake, Gokudera, that was my fault. Not hers. Stop blaming her. Please"

"Because..." He grits his teeth and can't believe the words that are crawling up in the back of his throat. The teen pouts and looks away, determined not to let her see the expression that conveys what his words can't. "What you did does not change what she is."

"Because? Did you not think I could handle it? I've been in worse situations, and believe it or not, I know how to handle battles. I might scream and be terrified the whole time, but I know how to approach them. That kraken was nothing compared to a swarm of raging akuma" Miranda's words are bitter, and sharp. She feels she's digressing into the shell of a human she was before she joined the Order, full of hate and loathing, both to the people that shunned her and herself for being shun-worthy. She doesn't want to be that person again. But his actions just... summoned that beast. Her tongue was tripping over the why's. Why are you so overprotective of me? Why do you get upset with me over trivial things? Why am I different? Why are you treating me this way?

"A pirate" Miranda states plainly. "Ace is a pirate too. Anf Fujiko has a bounty. And you, and Tsuna, and Reborn, are part of the mafia. Regular definitions do not apply"

"No! I didn't say that!" He snaps, wanting her to stop before she gets ahead of herself and starts making more assumptions than she already has. "Jesus..."

"I don't trust her." Gokudera says, too stubborn to sway his decision. "Even if she is your friend." Beyond his own gut, he only trusts people who have been cleared by the Tenth's Vongola intuition and even then, that doesn't mean he will treat them well.

"Then what, Gokudera?" she snaps back, trying to control her volume, bur failing when it cracks. Miranda digs her fingers into the sand, searching for something solid and tangible to grip. She knew she didn't have to be this angry, but it was a lot of little confusing things about him that had been irking her lately. This was the last thing that bothered her the most.

"Fine. Understandable. To each their own opinions. All I ask is that you refrain from telling them to me. Your opinions will not sway mine, and I want to avoid another fight, if possible"

"I know you could have handled it... I just didn't want you to." Gokudera says, desperation lacing his angered voice. He can't get the words out of his head that he wants to tell her... that she's important to him. What would she assume if he said that?

"..." He looks away, quiet and considering her request. Gokudera hopes sincerely that Nico Robin means well. If it's an act, she's very talented. He knows he can't control what Miranda does, but he worries about her regardless.

Miranda sighs heavily, lifting her hand from the sand and letting the grains shift through her fingers. If only her thoughts could flow that easily. But, most pressing questions first. "...why?"

The older woman says nothing, just watching the teen with her dark eyes. She seriously hoped he at least tried to refrain from saying mean things about her friends. Fighting with him felt... terrible. Miserable. It almost made her want to go back to the Vongola and take a hot shower before just slipping into bed. She wanted to avoid feeling like that again, if it was all possible.

He doesn't want to admit it, but he feels cornered and he's been fighting his words. "Miranda..." The teen wonders if Miranda has any idea what she's doing to him and it makes him angry that she's able to back him up until he feels his defenses crumble. He's yelled at her and flashed his teeth. Gokudera doesn't know what else to do now except admit defeat and let his words win. "You'reimportant" it's quietly mumbled and he balls his fists in his pockets, letting his fringe cover the discomfort and the blush on his face.

"....Pardon?" Her head is tilted to the side, and the slightly sad expression from her face is replaced with a confused one. What did he say?...and why was he standing like that?

"You. Are. Important. To. Me. There! Happy now?!" Gokudera snaps at her, green eyes piercing over bright red cheeks. He's breathing like an enraged bull, teeth grit against his own embarrassment. Of all people, he knows Miranda won't mock his weakness, but he can't help wanting to cover it. "And it's all your fucking fault! Stupid woman!"

Miranda blinks at Gokudera once... twice... about five times before the words fully sink in. ....oh. That.... that would do it. A blush appears instantaneously on her cheeks, thought not as bright as the bomber's. "I-I'm sorry??"

"TCH." The teen runs a hand through his hair and turns to walk down the dock and away from her, because the sooner the distance between them increases, the sooner he'll be able to think properly.

She just kind of stares at his back thinking. W-what kind of important did he mean? D-did he mean the friendly kind? Or did me mean the ro----

Oh. OOOOOOH. Miranda's face lit up, know giving the teen's a run for his money. That would explain----OOOOOOOHHHHHH. She scrambled to her feet.

"W-wait! Y-you---You---! Me?!"

Gokudera stops and his eyes stay forward on the Thousand Sunny. Maybe he'll get there and enjoy the music. Maybe. If this worrisome woman will give his own overworked nerves a break. The teen takes a deep breath, "Che Dio mi aiuti" He mutters under his breath and glances at her. The Storm Guardian's eyes lock on her as though trying to force out an explanation for her outbursts.

Miranda stares right back, blushing vividly and kind of wishing she wasn't there right now. She was SO confused. Her thoughts were racing about as fast as her heart was going, and whenever she tried to focus on one it slipped from between her fingers.

"Why else would I care if you got hurt?" Gokudera says and he turns to face her completely, taking a few firm steps in her direction.

She looks down at her shoes, the water, the sand, ANYTHING but him.

"..." Irritation flares up within him. "Idiot." Gokudera gives her a long look before turning away and trying to walk down the dock again.

Again, she stares at his back, unsure of what to say, do, or act. This was... this was too much. He liked her?! REALLY?! Miranda had a hard time believing it. Gokudera... who was always annoyed be her compulsive worrying, liked her? Returned her feelings. Gah... she felt dizzy. The woman, turned to face the sea again, and sat on the sand tentatively, deciding the let him go on ahead to the party on his own. She needed to think. And freak out a bit more on her own. But mostly think.
