Well... the accommodations aren't exactly five star, and it's a little leaky, but at least it seems steerable. Not quite as bad as the last vessel I found myself alone on in the middle of nowhere. Yohohoho!

[Brook keeps fiddling with the journal, not really sure how it works.]

I wonder if anyone shall find me? ... Well! No point in sulking about it, when you're feeling down and alone, you should sing!

Really? How delightful! Do I have my own room? Did Franky ever show up and "improve" it? If I don't have my own room, do I have a roomate, and if so who? When was this house first claimed by the straw hat pirates? Did we build it, or was it already built here? Do I have any clothes at the house other than these pants I was left with? Do you like pie? Are we allowed to have snacks in our rooms? Do we have separate bathrooms for men and women? Is the house made of wood, bricks, or something different? What color are your panties? How many floors does our house have? Do you think it's okay for me to move in right away? Does it ever Snow in Luceti, and if so do we have to shovel the walkway? What's the best spot in the house for playing music without bothering anyone, and where's the best spot to be heard by everyone?

[Most of these questions are asked in a flurry, as Brook is just dying of curiosity here. But he has a bit of a pause as he considers his last question, and whether or not he should ask it.]

When do you think I will get to speak to Luffy? I haven't seen him yet.

Ah... [Vivi gives up on trying to remember all of Brook's questions, but does her best to answer the ones she can recall, counting answers out on her fingers as she goes.] You have your own room; we all do now. Nami-san and I used to share, but Franky-san was here a while back, and he expanded the house. He built you a music room, too.

Of course you should move right back in! I don't know if there are any clothes left in your room, but if you need things to wear, you can probably find things at the clothing shop. [Perhaps not a lot at first, because Brook isn't exactly a standard size, but he should be able to get the basics.] Ah, yes, it does snow in the winter. [If her voice sounds a little flat at that, it's because she discovered last year that once the novelty of snow wears off, winter runs a little long for her tastes. Desert princesses really aren't made for cold climates.]

[She gives special attention to his last question, emphasis lent to it by the careful pause he took before asking.] Luffy-san...don't worry; he's around. He's not always good about checking his journal, so he probably doesn't know you're here yet, but I'm sure you'll see him once you get to the house! ...by mealtime at the very latest.

He... built me a music room? ... What a guy! Now I feel bad for putting air quotation marks on improve! Oh the humanity!

[He's just taking in the information about the other questions she answered. Not really having a good answer to them.]

Ahh, that is... a relief. I've been worried since I had not heard from him yet, but I suppose he's not exactly the most technologically adept... or for that matter, literately adept.

[She nods. True dat.] I know he'll be happy to see you though, Brook-san!

I hope so! I wonder how long it's been since he's last seen me. I mean, it hasn't really been all that long for me, but I suppose it could have been months for him.

I can't really say. He mentioned to me that you all had reached the New World after leaving Fishman Island, and...something about a fiery island and fighting a clown?

[Sounding more than a little unsure about that last part; she hadn't really understood everything Luffy had been talking about, and hadn't gotten clarification.]

Actually, in that case, he seems pretty up to date! How exciting! Yohohoho!

I think you're all from more or less the same point in time, except Mr Bushido and I. We're still around two years behind the rest of you.

You know, Mr. Bushido is a very unique name for Zoro. I'm not sure if I've ever heard anyone but you call him that before, it's very amusing I must say. I wonder what he thinks of it. Yohohoho!

Oh, well...he doesn't seem to mind it. He's never asked me not to. [She suspects he might have different feelings depending on who else tried her nickname on him. Sanji, for example, would surely be met with irritation, at the very least.]
