1st Song [video]
[Brook has found himself stuck on a flimsy raft out at sea. He can be seen drinking a cup of tea while seemingly having a tea party for himself.]
Well... the accommodations aren't exactly five star, and it's a little leaky, but at least it seems steerable. Not quite as bad as the last vessel I found myself alone on in the middle of nowhere. Yohohoho!
[Brook keeps fiddling with the journal, not really sure how it works.]
I wonder if anyone shall find me? ... Well! No point in sulking about it, when you're feeling down and alone, you should sing!
When you are refined,
And would like to dine,
There's only one beverage that you need,
When you need a drink,
To bring you back from the brink,
It's the greatest thing indeeeeeed!
This is an ode to tea,
The greatest drink in the land!
Tea is great for snack times,
It is so very grand!
Without tea I'd be lost,
Although I think already am!
So here's an ode to tea,
To help me give a damn!
Yohohoho!
[He seems to be taking notes in his journal on the lyrics... that make no sense]
Hmm... I think that last verse still needs a little work.

[action]
[She blinks and stands, gesturing for Brook to follow.]
If you'd like, I've got it at my shrine.
[If he's really evil, then passing the wards will be impossible.]
[action]
[Well now he really did feel guilty about asking to see a holy woman's panties. He thought she'd merely been bluffing to make him feel bad before. Of course that pause in his words, could be mistaken at hesitation to going into a place with holy wards. However, he is still following her to said shrine.]
Did you build it here yourself?
[action]
[She stands up and starts walking that way, beckoning for him to follow. Boy, she REALLY wants to test him now, the nervousness in his voice catching her ear]
I had help. A guild called Brave Vesperia helped work on it.
[action]
[He seems to be searching through his pockets for something now, as if he's misplaced something. However, upon not finding what he was looking for, he merely shrugs and keeps following her.]
[action]
[She just keeps going, eventually leading him to Tsukino Shrine. Brook shouldn't have problems with the Wards, not being evil and all, merely strange]
[action]
Aack! No! Get back here you!
[And before you can say begone evil spirits, Brook pulls several coins from his torso and shakes himself off.]
Sorry about that, it seems as if my loose change got loose on me, and started to go down my rib cage. Do you have any idea how weird that feels? Yohohoho!
[And as if nothing happened, he just casually keeps on going through the wards that don't actually do anything to him.]
[action]
I can't imagine. But you passed my test. Come inside, and I'll make you some tea.
[action]
[He's keeping close behind Rei at this point, just in case the place is secretly a winding maze on the inside.]
So, what kind of tea do you usually drink around here?
[action]
[She leads him into a simple, one room shrine, removing her shoes before entering, and preparing water]
What kind do you like?
[action]
[Brook follows suit in removing his shoes as well, figuring it's only polite. Although the skeletal toes might be slightly unnerving.]
Do you have any Earl Gray tea?
[action]
[She nods]
I do have some Earl Gray. Give me a moment.
[action]
[He takes a seat on the floor to wait for her as she grabs the tea.]
I wasn't sure whether or not they had Earl Gray tea here. What with it being a different world in all, but I guess it still has a bit of a reflection to our worlds in many respects. Perhaps even gathering bits and pieces of our culture or technologies.

[Brook has started to drink some of the Earl Gray tea by this point.]
Mmm, not bad. I was wondering, you said you were a priestess correct? What religion do you follow? Religions always intrigue me as I've dealt with some rather major spiritual aspects in my lifetime. And my deathtime for that matter. Yohohoho!
[action]
[Rei smiles gently, taking a sip from her tea]
And you? What sort of religion do you follow?
[action]
It's actually rather interesting really. Since I've seen more about the afterlife than almost anyone ever has in their lifetimes... and yet rather than making me 'know' what religion to follow, it just makes me all the more curious, as I didn't actually quite make it there. I suspect that many religions actually do have it correct, but they interpret them in different ways. Almost as if they were lost in translation somewhere along the way, and no one quite knew how to merge them back together. And quite frankly, and I mean no offense to you in any way by saying this, but religious fanatics are the most dangerous to try to negotiate with. Especially when it comes to their religion. But I digress, I'm getting a little off topic now I think.
